Each year, many children suffer serious injuries that could have easily been avoided. Protect-A-Tot, Inc. offers the knowledge, ability and experience to provide your child a safer environment. Whether at home, in your vehicle, or in public, your child’s safety is our top priority. Our services include Childproofing, CPR and First Aid Classes, and Car Seat Installations and Inspections. Protect-A-Tot, Inc. can meet all of your safety needs and provide your family with the peace of mind it deserves!

Childproofing
Our mission is to protect children by helping parents recognize and remove hazards their home may contain. Often, potentials hazards are commonly overlooked. Protect-A-Tot’s Childproofing/Babyproofing services allow parents to stay one step ahead of their growing child. During a Safety Evaluation of your home, our Safety Consultant will help you identify dangers and safety risks your child may face. Parents and caregivers will then receive recommendations as to how those prospective threats can be corrected through Childproofing.

CPR and FIRST AID CLASSES
Protect-A-Tot, Inc. is an Authorized Provider of American Red Cross Health and Safety Training. Our courses included:

• Adult, Child and Infant CPR
• First Aid
• AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Compression only CPR

We offer Private Classes, Group Classes and CPR Parties. Learning CPR and how to respond to an emergency can help you save the life of someone you love.

Car Seat Installations and Inspections
When Car Seats and Booster seats are properly installed and a child is secured correctly, risk of serious injury in the event of an accident can be reduced. Protect-A-Tot’s CPST’s (Child Passenger Safety Technicians) are certified through Safe Kids, USA. Our CPST’s educate parents on the importance of Child Passenger Safety and why all safety guidelines and recommendations must be followed. Parents and Caregivers are also educated on how to install their Car Seat or Booster Seat and how to properly secure the child.

Injury in the home is extremely common, accounting for approximately one-third of all injuries. [1] * The home is the second most common location of unintentional fatal injuries in the United States, with motor vehicles traveling on the road being the first. The home is the site of approximately 20% of all injury deaths. The top five leading causes of unintentional home injury death are falls, poisoning, fire/burn, choking/suffocation, and drowning; together these causes account for 90% of all unintentional home injury deaths.
